To me,this was amazing!

My hubby and I went to a psychic fair a couple of weekends ago and after we got out of there,I got the worst migraine! I even got violently ill. I just chalked it up to not eating much that day,but then I got to thinking that maybe I got sick from all of the energy that was in that building and I started to practice my grounding and shielding techniques.

Anyway,we went to another fair this weekend and I did just fine! I grounded myself before we went and I wore my hematite necklace,my hubby wore his bone necklace. When we got there,we decided to get pictures of our auras taken. I forgot that I had my necklace on when I got my pic done. When I looked at the pic all there was was a little bit of red around my neck. The lady said "It didn't work very well,let's take another picture." I said"lemme try taking this necklace off cause I just charged it today." Anyway,she took my pic again and low and behold....yellow aura everywhere!
My hubby got his pick done and had a little bit of red around his neck,but after he took the rabbit bones off.....instant red aura everywhere!
The lady who did our pics was so amazed at the instant difference in our pics but she told us not to wear those necklaces all the time cause they do mess with auras but as long as we were in a room with so much energy in it,wearing the necklaces for protection was ok.

I had no idea that an amulet or grounding yourself could make that big of a change,but it does! Guess I just needed proof.... and I got it!

Wow!! That's pretty amazing. I don't know much about aura theory, but I know that if a necklace was affecting an aura that much, you must have REALLY charged it. hehe

OH, can I empathize! I cannot even go into a crystal/rock shop for more than five minutes without getting an almost unbearable headache! And, I often get overloaded at psychic fairs and such...duh, I guess grounding and wearing some hematite might be a good idea! LOL

I swear by grounding,shielding and hematite now! I don't really know that much about auras,but they definately affected mine!

Hmmm, interesting. The incense at psychic/metaphysical fairs and in new age shops makes me sick or gives me a migraine, but I don't think I've ever gotten sick from the energies of the people or the crystals.

Well,what do I know,but I feel like Im supposed to do certian things to charge my pentacle that I recently bought,and I wear it everywhere,it makes me feel magical somehow,I just wish I knew what I was doing more.Last night I held it up to the moon and prayed that it be charged with the energy of the moon,I know that seems silly,but I done it with the sun,the moon,the earth(i buried it and prayed)the waters of the earth(Lake,I submerged it and prayed)and the wind,(I held it up and prayed as the wind passed through it)and I still have fire and spirit to go.

Hope im doing it right Sounds right to me. Be careful of the fire though. You don't want to damage your pentacle or burn yourself. Passing it over a candle flame and praying should do the trick. As for spirit...hmmm.... maybe putting it on something sacred (a shrine, for instance) and praying. That is how I would do it.

First, I want a pic of my aura taken!! I've been told I was an Indigo, and maybe that would prove it. I just don't think my mom will allow me to go somewhere special to do that.....yea...

Second, now we all now what to do if we go to a psychic fair and have side effects.. hehe.

The incense is usually what gets me at most shops.
But don't rule out the clashing energies of people...
and of course there are those that find it is a veritable feeding fest for themsleves at those sorts of events. lots of people too naive to think of shielding or no better.

I get really bad headaches at the fairs, and my back gets incredibly hot as well. Weird, but true. I never even thought of grounding myself first . . . doi. I will have to try that next time.
