Hello all.
I have recently purchased a beautiful carborondum crystal because I was very drawn to it.
I am usually very good at knowing exactly why a crystal attracts me, but in this case it seems very fuzzy.
I have tried to check in all my books and to search online but came up with no good results as to the magickal properties of this amazing crystal.
It is a large, dark mass of very brittle crystals with irridescent sparkles similar to a pyrite exept a lot more fagile and way more colorful. It has an overall dark blue and indigo hue.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

try looking for sapphire (blue sapphire) correspondences, because blue hue carborundum is blue sapphire of lesser quality. It does not qualify for jewellery making, but still is a blue sapphire.
Its qualities shouldnt be much less strong, than blue sapphire, in fact I have some of such "blue carborundums" here myself, and they are pretty strong as well.
congratulation on your purchase :clapping:

Are you sure about that?
This does not have the structure of a saphhire, or any similar stone, it is actually lots of tiny little stones, similar to a clusterof pyrite. When I say dark, I mean almost black, and it is very far from solid.
All the Sapphire I have, even lesser quality has always been solid. This does not even look like it belongs to the same family. Perhaps it was misslabled and it is a diferent crystal alltogether.
I'm going to try to post a picture of it.

ok, waiting for the pic.
if the label was right, carborundum is the family name for sapphires and rubys,; of course the common carborundum isnt as beautiful as sapphire/rubys you would see occationally in gem stones, and it is also used for example for tumbing/polishing stones etc
