I am posting this having just finished a conversation with my mother.
I've always known about her dreams but I hadn't thought enough to get any answers until now. Her mother died 10 years ago. During that time she's had several dreams with her mother in them. The most important is the first one she had. Her mother had come to her house(my mom was living there at the time) and they talked. My grandmother looked like a normal person, she was wearing a jogging outfit and had a Mary Poppins-esq travel bag. My mother vented to my Grandmother about all the things going on, especially her father and how horrid he was being. Well when my mother woke up she phoned her brother's house to tell him. My Aunt answered the phone and my mom explained to her the dream. My Aunt informed my mom that my Uncle had the exact same dream that night, down to the clothes and setting. My Uncle had also ranted about my Grandfather. Apparently in both dreams my grandmother wasn't to happy.
So a year or so later my Grandfather had a dream. I don't know all the details but I'll give as many as possible. In his dream my Grandmother had her backed turned to him the whole time and she wouldn't allow him to see her face. She was holding a baby.(my grandmother loved babies, she'd always insist on holding all the ones who were brought into church)He wasn't to specific but said she was rather angry. He said at the end of the dream she looked over her shoulder at him and shot him a very dirty look. Now its surprising that my grandfather would speak of such a dream. He is very very religious and believes dreams to really be nothing more than imagination and subconcious thoughts. So for him to think so much of a dream to acctually discuss it and with my mother of all people that says something.
So I have a few questions:
Do you believe my mother and my uncle were acctually visited by my grandmother's spirit in the dream?
Do you believe in my grandfather's dream that my grandmother's spirit was really there?
What do you think the baby represents?(My mother believes its her holding the grandchildren and shielding them from my grandfather)
