I'm definitely one. I'm running an illicit copy of ******* **, always dowloading and watching whole collections of ripped ***'s, playing illegally ripped *****... etc. And sharing them to hundreds of other people, on top of it!
Am I evil?

A very mild one. I only take music, and once I got a movie.

I pretty much limit myself to TV shows (utterly horrible cable here), and the occasional bit of music so far away from mainstream that the stores don't carry it.

I used be a pirate on the river Saskatchewan!
And it's a heave (ho!) hi (ho!), coming down the plains
Stealing wheat and barley and all the other grains
And it's a ho (hey!) hi (hey!), farmers bar yer doors
When you see the Jolly Roger on Regina's mighty shores
Well, the pirate life's appealing but you don't just find it here
I hear in north Alberta there's a band of buccaneers
They roam the Athabasca from Smith to Fort MacKay
And you're gonna lose your Stetson if you have to pass their way
Well, winter is a-comin' and a chill is in the breeze
My pirate days are over once the river starts to freeze
I'll be back in springtime, but now I've got to go
I hear there's lots of plunderin' down in New Mexico

A pirate is walking around and he's got a steering wheel hanging from his pants so a concerned citizen asks the pirate if he realizes that he has a wheel hanging off his pants
The pirate tells him "Arrr, it's drivin' me nuts."
Best joke ever ^

I suppose th' answer t' yer question would depend on what kind o' gentleman o' fortune ye be speakin' o'. Speakin' o' me'self, I prefer th' type that plunder ships on th' Spanish main o'er them who merely swipe wee internet files.

Haha *raises hand* only music, though. My connection is far too slow for anything else. But I don't feel too bad, because most of the bands I listen to encourage internet sharing, and besides that, I'm not paying $13 for one song off a cd if that's all I like :p

I agree it is stupid to pay a high price for a whole cd when you may only like 1 or 2 songs on the thing. But alas I know nothen about getting it any other way than to pay the high prices.

Yup. Pirate, here.
Though, I thought pirates were those who recorded/copied software/music/video for the purpose of selling it and making a profit. That, I don't do...

Saffron Well, I'm hoping to sell some custom-made music cd's and vcd's to my neighbours, and make some profit! They know nuttin' about plundering off a dee net, and don't even own a computer, which is a shame, because they think I'm gonna do it all for free!
Arr!!! There's lots'a gold to be had in these waters. :rollingla

No kidding! I was rather surprised at how difficult it is to find and buy any of those. Well, sorta. I found out from the web site I was on, sailormusic.net. Hehe.
I also went on a slight Yoroiden Samurai Troopers binge, and now I'm in the mood for Dragonball Z.
AHHHHHHHHH. Addiction!!!
