Questioning a personal reading

Hello all. I was hoping someone more advanced with Tarot might be able to help with a recent reading I did for myself.

I did the reading to see what the effects of a major choice my boyfriend is going to make would be on our relationship. I normally have no problems interpreting the cards, but with my emotions in play, I'm now second-guessing my feelings about the spread.

Here's what I got when I did a Celtic Cross spread:
Present Influences: Wheel of Fortune Rx
Helps or Obstacles: 5 of Cups
Recent Past: 6 of Cups
Above: Chariot Rx
Below: Knight of Wands Rx
Immediate Future: Ace of Cups Rx
The Seeker: Page of Wands Rx
Environment: King of Pentacles Rx
Hopes & Fears: Knight of Cups
Final Outcome: 3 of Pentacles

What worries me most are the last four cards. The Page of Wands Rx next to both a King Rx and and Knight Rx feels to me like problems with a man. Specifically one who is out of touch with his emotions and spirituality and focuses instead on the physical. Now the Knight of Cups has always been the card for my boyfriend - he's IS the person that card describes. Being that this relationship is about him, that might explain why it shows up in the H&F spot.

I also don't know how to take the outcome card - does the mastery and growth inherent in the 3 of Pentacles apply to me moving on, or our relationship deepening and strengthening? (That pesky 5 of Cups makes me wonder if it's the former) Overall this reading worries me . . . should it?

Any objective insghts would be welcome.

My first thought is that he might be moving away and this will turn into a long distance relationship. Is that what's happening? I think you are dwelling too much on what only seems to be a negative. Something will change or be lost, but not everything. As for the final card, I would say that in this case the 3 probably means that relationships take alot of work, and this will be alot of work. You need to decide if it's worth the effort. :)

That's just a nutshell, I don't have lots of time at the moment. I can take a closer look later on, if you like. Let me know what you think. :)

He's not moving away, but he *might* be changing his living arrangements (getting roomates), which he's vehemently against. We're hoping he can stay where he is and manage the increased rent. The roomates alternative wouldn't fit well with him - he's worried about being in the way/being robbed/etc. He's recovering from long-term illness right now, and the additional stress will only provoke a relapse.

With the Page of Wands rx as the seeker and the King of Pentacles rx as the environment, my first thought is that he's being stubborn and afraid and hidebound to a fault, and you're being just the opposite, maybe in reaction. I would interpret the 5 of Cups as saying that you're too busy missing how things used to be and not seeing how you can work with what you have now. In that context, I think the 3 of Pentacles represents your relationship deepening and strengthening - maybe once you get past the block of the 5 of Cups, your relationship will start to move past this stage into something better.

Ok, I'll give this a shot. Bear in mind that I'm not too comfortable reading reversals.

The whole spread points to a very tense situation that has you very worried about your relationship.

Things are happening right now that you have very little control over and going in a direction you don't like at all (Wheel of fortune Rx). The way things used to be suited you just fine (6 of cups) and these new changes are very unsettling to you (5 of cups). You may be feeling anger at yourself or others because of this situation. (Chariot Rx).

You may feel completely drained of your energy and that you can't do anything about what's going on.(Knight of Wands Rx) You can though, you can take control and analyze the situation carefully.

All this will put a strain on your relationship and you'll end up emotionally exhausted (Ace of Cups Rx). You feel very frustrated by the whole thing (Page of Wands Rx) You need to take a break and try to look at everything from a another angle.
It looks like you don't get a lot of support or sympathy from others right now which makes things harder (King of Pentacles Rx).

You say that the Knight of Cups represents your BF. I think it makes sense that this card would appear in the Hopes and Fears position. You're very worried about him and have doubts that your relationship will survive this new turn of events.

The 3 of Pentacles indicates that you need to put in more effort into bringing this relationship to a new level. Maybe you're not communicating your feelings to him in ways that he can understand. You need to work at it with him and together you can turn things around.
