Right I thought I'd have a go at a spread called Iris which is based on the natural cycle of a bulb or seed, sprout, leaf and flower. Its supposed to be good if considering a project or course of action. (Got this from the tarot class) Unfortunately I can't seem to make head nor tail of it. Maybe its too advanced for me. I did the spread a couple of days ago & couldn't figure it out, so decided to leave it & come back to it later. Tried again today & now I can feel myself getting frustrated at not being able to read. Does this happen to other people? I'm not feeling so hot today which isn't helping, but am curious what these cards mean. I've even read the book and it hasn't made any difference, I still can't get my head around it..so if anybody has a free moment, could they give me some insight?
The question was about my business and how it looks so far; what i need to consider to improve things.
The spread & cards are
Card 1: Seed - The beginning or inception - Two of Cups
Card 2: Sprout - First Stirrings (This card often gives useful imformation on the nurturing of the idea/project) - Justice
Card 3: Leaf and Stem - What is needed in order to grow & expand - Ace of Swords
Card 4, 5 & 6: Flower - What can be expected to manifest - Nice of Pentacles, Knight of Swords & 2 of Swords.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!

I would say that you are starting out with a good concept or partnership. If you aren't partners with someone exactly, you might want to look into some advice from someone you trust.

Card 2: Sprout - First Stirrings (This card often gives useful imformation on the nurturing of the idea/project) - Justice
Balance. Combining just the right elements to make a more harmonious whole, or a whole new thing! :) Take some of this (your ideas) and some of that ( your advice or partner's ideas) and make it come together to be stronger & better than it was before.

Card 3: Leaf and Stem - What is needed in order to grow & expand - Ace of Swords
Careful thought. Brainstorming. Get together and write down all of your ideas, whether you think they're good or bad. New thoughts, even bad ones are often helpful when deciding on how to move forward.

Card 4, 5 & 6: Flower - What can be expected to manifest - Nice of Pentacles, Knight of Swords & 2 of Swords.
A greater understanding of what you want and don't want, although you might be "on the fence" about some ideas until you see the results. For the most part though, you will feel like you've accomplished alot and be proud of yourself. You'll have a chance to bask in the glory of your creation, but don't forget that you still have to keep coming up with new ideas to keep the progress going.

Is that helpful, does it make sense at all?

Thanks Lisa for taking time out to have a go @ my reading. I really appreciate it hun :bigredblu Yer it does make sense, espeically the bit about sitting on the fence!! I work alone, so maybe I need to ask others when I need advice or help. I'll also start some brain storming and see what I can come up with. It might be a good idea to do this with others too. Thanks again hun. I do find it harder to read for myself, but I realise I gotta lot of practice to do too!!!
