Are you more prone to notice people with the same or different beilefs? I was just wondering, because on anouther online community, it was my week to make up what we call the "moron list", which has all the active posters and their polictical stances.

Anyhoo, I was having alot of trouble thinking up the names of liberals, but I was at know loss for conservatives. So, which do you think you are more prone to notice?

Are you prone to notice likeminded people or people that disagree with you more?

those who disagree with you. Many reasons; respect, anger, relationship, location.

If they are vehement or steadfast. Whether they have room for dissenting views, etc. etc.

I probably tend to follow those I disagree with a bit more...I'm an iconoclastic kind of guy.

Here's a website, that while a bit dry, I find fascinating. It follows the money in Washington. VERY informative, if you're into politics at all. http://www.opensecrets.org/

The only time I notice people who disagree with me is when they're reasoning is something I didn't even think of, or when I feel they're reasoning is false. Normally I notice people who agree with me or at least don't totally disagree with me more because I'm interested to see they're reasonings and understandings behind their own beliefs, and if those reasonings can also be applied to my own.
