Anything out there that I absolutely must see?

STFU?!?! I JUST got it _handclapp _handclapp .
Anyway.....shopping-The Broom Closet,The Trolley Stop,Crystal Moon(best hats in town),Artemisia.For great clothes,The Fool's Mansion
Lunch: For seafood and hands-down BEST clam chowder Derby Street Fish and Lobster won't break the bank, either. Great Thai restaurant in Museum Place Mall....For a real treat, go to the Willows Park, Salem Lowe serves the original chow mein sandwich. The park has a great view of the harbor. If you bring your binoculars you can see several of the lighthouses. Also, go to Winter Island. A lot of the flowers are blooming despite the cold weather. Don't be frightened by the black clothed, red haired woman feeding the gulls and beachcoming-that's only me _witchball . Someone on Pickering Wharf has sunset "lighthouse tour" cruises, but it may be too early in the season for them (guess you'll have to come back) :hmmmmm:
That's all I can think of about now... Before you go, check out www.hauntedsalem.com -it has lots of other good suggestions for what to do,where to go,etc.
Have fun, hope to see you!

Oh bugger! I forgot about the Magic Parlor :wah2: ! Also, it's that time of year, the city is charging to go to Winter Island-$10 during the week, $15 on the weekend :wah2: :wah2: . I tihnk you can get the full fee schedule for camping, boat launch etc through a link on www.salemweb.com .
I hope you folks stayed dry on your journeys!

Well, we went to every single "new age" store in the historic area... Had the choweder at Derby... Yummmmmm.
We did one of the late night ghost tours. We'll have to see if there's anything spooky in the pics when I get them developed. Didn't use the digital for it, used the old fashioned disposable, they seem to catch spooky stuff better.
It was rainy and cold yesterday, but we didn't let that get us down. Had a blast, looking forward to going back.
Ended the trip by seeing Phantom of the Opera in Boston today... I saw it in 1988 with the original Broadway cast, with the exception of Michael Crawford, and this was good, but not like the original cast... All in all, we had a great time! Thanks to everyone who gave me tips on where to go and what to do.
