Allergic to a tree?
Why how can that be?
And a Druid too?
It must be hard on you.

About me and a tree?
Do I have the allergy?
Or am I like you?
I fear only a mold or two.

bwhahaha!!! lol. It's funny this should be here, since I have been "under the weather" since the beginning of the Gregorian month, and my doctor says that it is from tree & pollen allergies. Peevishly thankfully, I am happy that my Aerius alergy medication is not helping. WOOT. DOC WAS WRONG!!! lol.

(For the record, she also said that my bronchi might just be sensitive -- then my father said that if my bronkie is sensitive I should whip it hard if I ever ride in the Calgary stampede.)

lol. I dirgress.

Take comfort, brother dear
In the words I found right here:

"In Scotland even educated people have been known to maintain that idiots are incapable of sneezing, and hence, if this be true, the inference is clear that the act of sternutation is prima facie evidence of the possession of a certain degree of intelligence."

Stern-u-tation!!!
:ahhhhhhh:-choo!

I used to be allerfic to everything under the sun (& moon!) EXCEPT for mold; I got HUGE doses of shots for 41/2 years about 13-14 years ago. Gradually, it became so that I hardly sneeze anymore - uh-oh, do you think maybe the shots drained me of intelligence????? :kooky:

OK Twig..pass me some coffee will ya,I think the fresh cut mistletoe is clogging the brain cells this early in my day, just to prove this, read below...

Dave is a Druid who needs a notion,
Allergic to Oak,someone give him some lotion,
Crush 3 acorns into a paste,generously apply,
Stand outside naked under the sky,
Wash yourself off in a clear running stream,
Recake the brown stuff on till you scream,
Know that you will heal very soon,
and if not,you will scratch till your a LOON!

(sorry some bad lyrical humor here)

Amazing a Druid allergic to Oak...

Will sit under an oak in the park?
Will you sit and watch the larks?

Alright what goes with lark and can be found in a park? I'm really not a poet.

He shall not sit next to the oak, for he would become one itchy bloke.

He could still sit in the park and view the chirping flitting larks.

But away from oaks he must surely stay, to avoid the fever that's called hay.

If he were to sit near an oak with a fox, the poor man would surely break out in pox.

Avoid the Oaks he must and will, if not, may I suggest Benadryl?

It is a pitty and a shame
that Druid should be
Allergic to the Oak Tree

My story goes well past that
Nose runs as the stream in spring
Eyes burn and itch thought covered with pitch

And the Oak just hangs his head
With out me you would be dead!
That needed to be said

On the wind is carried
Animal hair nefarious
Grey and fluffy
Makes my head stuffy

Bloody cat!

Tune in for the ensuing episodes where we find out is the Oak is saved (SORRY!! Really poor turn of phrase there) or how many ways there realy are to skin a cat...
