Does anyone have any information on Pietersite? It's a lovely black swirly colored stone which I've heard called a chaos stone. It's supposed to absorb, I think. Anyways, any help is appreciated!

one of my favorites - if not my signature stone. Often refered to as "The Tempest Stone" - amazingly useful for many purposes. What would you like to know?

a brecciated tigers and falcons eye, the pietersite comes from one single mine in the world, the sid pieters mine in namibia.

the blue dominated pietersite sometimes is also called eagles eye, but this term is misleading.

the eagles eye was a pietersite like variety from a mine in china, that got flooded by a barrage project, so it sint available - meaning reminable - anymore.

additionally to falcons eye and tigers eye capabilities
the pietersite is an excellent guiding stone for meditations or to find out what goes wrong in your life. a pietersite accompanies you until you not only find the problem but also its solution.

it is a rare and therfore rather pricy stone, but one a coiniseur of healing stonmes should not miss. thank you for posting this question, reminds me to create a pietersite site onto my museum online :)

I came across an image of Pietersite; it looked almost brown in hue. Would Pietersite be characterized as having more of an active or passive energy?

Any other thoughts on this stone?
