I am currently undergoing some Plutonian transits that started last year and will continue through the rest of this year. First, it squared my Ascendant and now it is conjuncting my Midheaven. My wife and I almost split up last year during the first transit, but we survived it. Now, however, she is leaving me for my best friend. On top of that, my business seems to be failing. Everytime Pluto transits something in my natal chart, things like this happen. Last time, my dad died. The time before that, my mother died. Before that, I lost my job and so on.
I know that these transits are as regenerative as they are destructive. Its said that they only get rid of those things that no longer serve your spiritual growth. I am a Scorpio, so this will probably make them more intense. I want to know what effects these two transits have had on you if you have suffered through them. Have they been as drastic? I would like to hear of your experiences or those of your clients. Thank you.

I think that the things we do in our lives affects our lives a lot, some things cannot be helped, fate,God,Goddess, overrules us,but the way we live, the things we do,the way we treat others, plays a big role,we can have a tremendous affect on our destiny,by the things we do,the path we walk, and the way we look at things,we have a greater role to play in our outcome than most think,Thats what I think,And im sorry to hear of your troubles and your wife leaving you,Ill keep you in my prayers,I pray that all that happens to you will be to benefit you in some way.
Unfortunatly,I know nothing of astrology,so cant help ya there.

thanks azzeenasman, you speak of free will. I think things like this are predestined, either by higher powers or by our own souls, but the way we handle them is totally up to us. I could make the situation worse by getting angry or acting on my hurt, or I can rise above it all and use the situation as a learning and uplifting experience. Since I practice the Buddhist principle of non-attachment, it is easier for me to do the latter.

Pluto is your Sun's ruler as a Scorpio, so it can make things seems more intense... However Pluto is currently in the last degrees of Sagittarius, so I'm wondering where the rest of your planets are... :) To do a full chart, I'd need your date and time of birth(as close as possible), as well as the city you were born... Anything in your chart in the late degrees of Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces could be getting hit pretty hard here...

Hey MM12,you have a good attitude,im not much on the thing about nonattachment, sorry for my ignorance on the subject,it sounds interesting though,a good topic for discussion,I think like a ship,we turn the wheel,we cant control the weather, but we certainly can control the direction the ship travels,I think we can bring things to pass,by our efforts and faith,I believe man has great potential to accomplish great things, through faith and determination we can accomplish much,if it is to be,its up to me.Bright blessings to your future friend

A quick look at /just/ your birthdate shows that Pluto is approaching a square to your natal Pluto but that's still a ways off yet. Other than that, using rough estimates only here, transiting Pluto is sextiling your natal Mars, which though that's considered a "good" aspect, meant to toughen you up, be true to yourself, and most of all stand up for yourself, but Pluto's methods aren't always easy, particularly if you can't make sense of what direction you're meant to go in...

Well, as far as personal Pluto experiences go, I had it conjuncting my Neptune in the sixth house (ruler of my MC) in 2003.
That was one of those years from hell. I was diagnosed with serious health problems, in the hospital twice, totalled my car, almost got fired from my job (for health reasons, stupid jerks). I ended up in serious financial straights while it squared my natal Moon, the ruler of my second house. I'm just now recovered from that.
The lesson? Have backup plans so when your life goes to pot, you have the change to bounce back.

KEishin,
I know what you mean about Pluto/Neptune transits. Five years ago, I lost my father during a conjunction. They make for hard years. I have found, however, that most people who go through them experience a new or renewed interest in religion and spirituality. I renewed my Universal faith during my crises. One of my clients lost her baby but also found Jesus during hers. Another went to jail but was there baptized after being an athiest all his life. So it seems that the difficult times manifested by Pluto/Neptune transits are there to point us in a higher direction. Was it the same way for you?
azzeenasman,
I look at things the same way concerning your quote about the ship. I often say that each of us is born with a box of crayons. Some of us get the little 8-count and others get the big 32-count. It really doesn't matter how many we get, though. What matters is what we make with the crayons we have. So, now I feel that someone has stole some of my crayons, but I still have enough left to make a good picture. Thank you for your words and please post here anytime!
Kadynas,
You sound like an experienced astrologer. Thank you for the outlook. I am NOT looking forward to the Pluto square Pluto transit. That is one of the hardest that anyone can go through, but everyone does when they reach their mid-thirties. Rain falls on the righteous and the wicked in the same way. I always think of Pluto as the cosmic recycler. It comes and takes away something from you and it hurts, but then it brings it back in a completely different form a little later on. I think Robert Hand might have said that, or maybe Alan Oakley, I don't know. Thank you again.

Hi Magickman, I have to say that you have my total understanding over Plutonian influences, when you have strong Scorpio connections in your chart. Pluto is my ruling planet and is conjunct my M.C. on my natal chart as well as Jupiter, Mercury, and Fixed Star Regulus.....without going into detail, many of the things that caused you a lot of suffering during your Pluto transits, has happened to me when Uranus( The Great Awakener) started to hit my I.C. in 2003 when it was 29 Aquarius, so putting Pluto and the M.C in opposition.
In regards to my own spiritual journey, and i have a very English dry sense of humour, i have to find part of this time amusing now that healing has set in.
Let me explain, as up to that time i was very wary of Plutonian influences and Karma, so on top of losing so much in my life, the one thing that nearly put me on the dark side of the Moon, was when i started getting interested in quintiles late in the year in 2003.
Late in November, and at about 3Am in the morning, i suddenly thought that it would be a good idea to see if i had any quintiles, Ha Ha!
Pentacles have many effects, symbolically on us all, and due to some false impressions that have been made during the the centuries, can lead us to some very misleading conclusions.
Obviously, because of my mental state due to the losses incured by the Pluto, M.C. Uranus opposition, and a fear of anything spiritually being wrong with me, Im sure that you can see the funny side to all this, by my reaction of nearly breaking my neck to see if i had 666 stamped on my butt, and screaming " EEEEEK!!! I,m a Alien!
No doubt about it, Pluto pushes us to the Limit, and karma isnt fair over one life time but many, and sadly none of us get spiritual development without suffering, so i try to laugh at my puny attempts to side step the steam roller.
Natal Chart on attachment. Regards, the monk.

Now that, I must say, is quite the chart, the monk. Each point, where one planet is quincux to two others is what is called the "Finger of God" and has a very powerful effect in your life. You must have a very interesting purpose in this life. It is good to see that you have a sense of humour about it. That is what I am keeping even though the people around me just cannot understand why I am not curled up on the floor sobbing. It just takes a higher outlook on life, and a bit of astrological awareness.

Hi Magickman,
I dont know if your fixed star parans would give you more insight into your own astrological chart, and soul purpose, but i have Bernadette Brady's Starlight programme that is very cutting edge, and charts parans as the ancients did.
I'd be more than happy to attach it's interpretation to this thread if you would like it.
I would only say, please remember that on most charts the influence is watered down, on very few charts would the life pattern be forcefully and powerfully be displayed by parans.
Yet it can still show the threads and patterns in a gentle manner.
As you know fixed stars are wrapped up in sometimes frightening karma myths, so dont take it all too seriously, Obviously my Pluto gets a bit twitchy over my own parans but im not sure what mine mean while having a far from "normal" natal chart.
Personally i wasnt thrilled by the fact that on the day of my birth Pluto rose at 06:19 at the same time as the head of the dragon/Hydra grinned at it, as it appeared on the horizon with Sirius. On 99% of charts that wouldnt matter as usaully Pluto parans are not heeded on natal charts. Any how if you want them just either put your details down here or on private message if you want to keep your birth details personal. Regards, the monk.
