I looked into the night terrors thing and everything and then they stopped for a few days. but now I'm not so sure they're night terrors...
I always see a demonic scary evil looking guy in a big long black cloak standing in front of me in a rainy field and he's basically just kicking my ass. No I do not watch scary movies. no I have not watched star wars lately, or anything else to do with a creepy demonic guy in a long black cloak that kicks ass. I wake up with bruises, and right now I have a black eye cuz of it. How I got it I dont know, except that in my nightmare I got kicked in the face.
I dunno what to do. The dreams are really quite scary and I'm not sure if I should see a doctor about sleeping problems or if I should think of something along the lines of the spiritual.

I say do both. You might want to try one or the other first, though, just so you know which solution is the one that works. If it were me, I'd probably try spiritual solutions for a week or two before going to the doctor, to try to avoid going on sleeping pills or anything (and besides, I have a mild phobia of doctors :)), but it's up to you which to try first.
Is there anything near your bed that you could be hitting yourself on or with? Are you sure you don't sleepwalk and walk into things or fall down or hit yourself with things? These are things to look into, if you haven't already.
As far as spiritual solutions go, you could look up stones with protective qualities and put them by your bed. You could do some sort of simple protection ritual right before bed - even something as simple as calling on an aspect of the Divine you associate with protection. As you're falling asleep, you could either form your dream-self into somebody who can easily fight this guy off, or imagine a dream-protector for yourself who can do the same. Dreams are very malleable things, so it's likely you can give yourself the ability to fight off this guy - if not at first, then after practicing awhile. If you decide to do this, working on imagining this dream-self or dream-protector sometimes while you're awake might help, so that the idea is more clearly fixed in your head when you go to sleep. There are also plenty of books on psychic protection out there; you could even pop into the CoT Magical Self-Defense class and find information there, though you may not find much since I think the class is in the pretty early stages right now.

smudge your room ! Do any cleansing ceremony you are comfortable with. Look into getting some protective stones and place them in the corners of your room,I would also suggest getting a dream catcher and hanging it at the head of your bed on the wall.If you feel comfortable enough You can PM me your address and I can make and send You a dream catcher. I would also try spiritual things first and doctor second.Meditate before You go to sleep and see if that helps you perhaps guide yourself thru Your dreams where You have a bit of control as to what happens. That helped alot for me. :hugz: sending protective energies Your way .

Shaylaye I tried sending you a PM but it says your inbox is full so you can't recieve any more.
But yes, I think I'll try some spiritual things first... my bed is away from any walls or anything, and I dont have a bed frame I could be hitting myself on either, so thats ruled out. I think I'll try spiritual.... I get the distinct impression thats just what it is- it's happened before and I have the same feeling this 'being' wont leave me alone... so now it's time to take care of things....

A person who came to me for an interpretation quickly figured out that the demons were his bills - and they were beating the tar out of him! :smoke:
