This week, there was a white buffalo born in Peace River, BC.
I didn't know exactly where to post this but thought it was a very interesting tid-bit. I guess it does fit in with dreams & diviation because for many, this occurance is symbolic.
I find the article rather disturbing toward the end, but I'm against raising animals in circuses.

For Native American Legends it symbolizes the coming together of humanity in oneness of heart, mind, spirit. The White Buffalo has been used in Legends in many Native American tribes. It is a symbol of Hope and Rebirth and Unity among the Plains tribes.A white buffalo born in a herd was said to have magical and healing powers. These are stories I heard growng up .
The Native Americans also see the birth of a white buffalo as a sign to begin mending life's sacred hoop, especially our connections with one another and with Earth Mother, whom we are destroying rapidly. This wave of white buffalo calves being born is unprecidented. The sacred symbolism behind them is the real significance of these combined events. It ties in so well with so many other things that are happening these days and is clearly a part of the overall process that is helping to awaken humanity to its Divine Origins. It is an omen that is bringing about a Change and a New World. These births affect all of mankind not just Native Americans. It is not an accident nor is it without purpose.

It also symbolizes the Native American goddess White Buffalo Calf Woman. I'll put this on my list of article ideas. There are some good links in this one and in the category section:

Isn't it a bit insensitive to say they might sell the sacred white buffalo to a zoo or circus?

I've had dreams with the white buffalo in it, and the white buffalo lady.

Th White Buffalo is a very sacred creature, and it should not be captive in a circus nor zoo. :)
