I was wondering if anyone had any remodies for stress. Lately I have been dealing with a lot of stress and it is affecting my health and mood. I'm having trouble focusing and getting around it. Can anyone recommend any good incense or oils that can be useful?

Vanilla scented candles are good, and also Meditation helps alot :) if you are stressed the emphasis should be on the breathing...

vanilla, lavender and honey are my favorites to relax. I also bought a scent called "spring flowers" that just forces you to sit down, inhale, calm your mind and dream yourself to flowery places...

I find meditation & herbal teas a great help for stress. There was a bunch of excellent meditations posted by Emy a while ago. One in particular, was a tree meditation. I've always love that one. Easy & simple enough to do in a short time & you can do this anywhere. Also, check out the Green Room. There's a thread on different types of teas & other stress help as well.

If you can, treat yourself to a hot, steamy bath, complete with candles & bath salts & soft music. Set aside an hour for yourself every once in a while.

Forgot about this one. Lie down on the floor with your bum against the wall & your legs up the wall. Stay like that for at least 10 mins or until you feel less tired & stress. My yoga instructor recomends that one for stress & it does feel good when you combine it with a bit of meditation.

And remember to find and appreciate the good things in life. :) Find beauty around you and when everything swamps you, just conentrate on the beauty of the world and life instead. That always helps me. That is, at least when I can consciously remember to do it often enough. Heh heh. ;)
