They say Men fall under 3 catagories. Engaged, Vacant or full of s**t. Personally I have always though this very unfair (though highly amusing! :) ) despite my past loves almost always ending up falling in the 2nd and 3rd catagories. Yesterday was a fine example of the 2nd. My friend rang me in hysterics to tell me that my ex (who I still get on with) had gone to the gas station to fill up the tank, did so, and then went and paid for the gas he had bought. What happened during the few seconds it took to get from the counter, and outside, I dont know, but it appears he seems to have forgot why he had been there, because he then proceeded to walk home, leaving the car at the pump, and only remembering when he got home and was asked where his car was.

*wipes tears of laughter away* sorry, I really had to get that out of my system. All day yesterday I was cracking up with laughter about it, including walking down the street by myself, and while on the train, and people get suspicious when cracking up in tears of laughter for no apparent reason :lol: Hopefully this will finally get it out my system. :rollingla

Just like toilets....

I had a 2nd category man on the maternity ward not long ago- he carried the lift down to the car, only to discover that he hadn't placed the baby in it, so he had to come back up and get the baby :T

Heh. This is not just men. I have had a moment like that myself. I went to the gas station, paid $10 for gas, then because I was on the phone with someone and thinking about my belly dancing class, I drove off without the gas. I went back a little later, and they would not give me the gas, so I never go there any more. The same guy was there who I paid the first time and he refused to give me the credit even though he would have seen that I drove away without the gas.

I'll second that, we cant just blame the guys for it. In my 24 years on this earth include (there are too many to count);

*Answering the door, forgetting that I didnt have a t-shirt on.

*Getting into the bath, and forgetting to undress first (I've done this more than once).

*Trying to get in the house when in a huge rush (I had a job interview) to get my passport, and having the key jam. In my panic, I nearly kicked the damn door in before a taxi driver pointed out to me that I was trying to get into the wrong house (This happened last week).

* Taking my dog for a walk, and nearly walking home with the wrong dog.

I think you need to share with the group. I've just slaughtered any dignity I may have had left with my last post :lol:

Dignity I have very little of. I work for a phone company, and drive a company van, with ladders and all that, pulled into a yard, hopped out checked our connection box, went to walk over to other connection box when I heard a door slam, turned around in time to see my van driving toward very expensive house, ran as fast as I think I ever have, opened door and pushed break just before incline, maybe 10-15' from house.

I have spent 3 hours searching, no tearing house apart for pencil I had in left hand.

just last week I almost got out of personal truck with it in reverse, was half way out when it took off.

drive past location often. I do have adult ADD so at least I have an excuse, lol

Damn, I cant touch your karma again for that! :lol: I did something similar, looking for a dress I needed. I stripped the house. I re-stripped the house. I screamed with frustration. I compiled a list of friends I had visited to see if i'd left it there. I was wearing it.
