I dunno if anyone already asked this, but when you cleanse your cards with incense, does it matter which incense fragrances you use or what is the best one to use? (has jasmine and lavender)

Usually a cleansing incense is best, such as sandalwood, pine, sage, mugwort, st john's wort, nag champa, or lavender.

Lavender is also associated with peace and relaxation, so I think that would be your best bet!

Never tried using regular incense. I smudge mine with sage...it's what I use for almost all of my cleansing.

A friend swears by putting her cards loose in a mixing bowl and covering them with salt overnight. My hunch is whatever feels best to you is fine.

Well when I use incense for cleansing I use sage, but I think lavende would do fine too. Or you could use salt (I often use salt) or simply let them lay in the sunlight or moonlight for a while :)

Lavendar and Jasmine would be lovley ~ lavendar is a cleansing essence for relaxtion and Jasmine is said to connect you to your guides/angels/goddesses!
Sage is tradionally used and what i use the most but Id say like everyone else ~ go with what feels right and good for you!

I've never tried Sage before.. What do you do with that, just smear the cards with it? Sorry for buggin ya about this, but I don't really think my cards like to be cleansed with incense (I found this especially when I used Jasmine)..
I should try the salt thing too.. Aah, so many things to try...... :)

Run the cards individually through the smoke of burning sage. ;) Incense cones work the best for me.....or a smudge shell. :D
