I need a second opinion...please

Could someone do a reading for me? My reading was not clear to me!

My son is having some difficulties and I need to know if I am leading him in the right direction.

I drew two cards...one to represent the problem...and one to show an outcome/solution.

The first card was the World. I see this card as endings with the opportunity for new beginnings.

The last card I drew was the 7 of Wands. This one, I see as decisions and challenges. Standing your ground. Protective. In being protective....don't be so much so....that he feels his hands are tied. (drew the Devil card to clarify) Show him his options. Let him make his own decision....you wouldn't want him fighting you every step of the way.

Hope that makes sense in accordance to the situation. :D

Thanks...and yes it certainly does make sense!! I do tend to be a bit overprotective and worry about things that are out of my hands...I guess I need to let him grow...

I do the same! I'm reluctant to let him make is own decisions fearing he will get hurt, or make the wrong choice....but that's part of growing into who he will be. ;)

right now, I think that maybe there's some confusion. Ideas coming from a lot of directions, and he/you is/are not sure about what's correct, what is true, etc. . . Two main oppoising viewpoints, perhaps yourself vs. what another important figure in your child's life is saying.

Basically what my cards say right now is that the future is balenced. . . they're not really saying much more than that. But balence is good, harmony and such.

Hope this makes some sense.

Laiste, Ive drawn three cards for you and your son for guidance ~ here goes ~

Death was the first card ~ This is the card of changes ~ so Im not sure how this amplies whether to your outlook and guidance ~ easing off a bit, or to his direction. Is the matter in question about a big change or some sort? Or maybe you have to start afresh and look at it all from a new angle, a new light and try to change yourself in order to help and guide him.
Next I drew the Empress! ~ The mother card! Very fitting for you and your wish and need to nuture, protect, guide and care for your son. She is all the positive attributes of being a woman and is a celebration of feminity and motherly love! But she can also be a little too overwhelming sometimes maybe as she has so much love and abundance and wants so much what is right so she has to be careful not to go to extremes for herself and those around her.
& Finally I drew the Knight of Wands ~ Your son! This can stand for your passionate ambitious support of him ~ driving him forward with enthusiam and love. Also it stands for him as a adventurous, confident, ambitious, changing man! He's a very strong character and can be stubborn and restless too.. but he will succeed and ride his big winged horse forward!
All these are very strong cards, all depicting very different pictures.. but its very interesting that the Death card is the same masked face as the Knight! (I never even noticed that before!) I think this is saying he will change and for you not to worry about him and positive I feel!

Death...yes there have been major changes...and from what I've been "feeling" more are coming!

The Empress...Overwhelming...oh yeah. I do go to extremes at times! Everything about this card relates to my current situation.

The Knight of Wands...very intersting...pretty much my sons personality in a nutshell!
