How long to wait?

The other day I gave a really cute guy my phone number, and he gave me his. So now I am curious, how long does it usually take for a guy to make the call...or should it be me who calls him? I am not hanging by the phone waiting so desperatly for it to ring or anything, I just know it would be nice to speak to him again and was wondering how this worked out for everyone else. Usually guys take anywhere from 5 days to never.
If he doesn't call first it might be that he is too nervous to be the first one.
There is nothing wrong with the girl making the first phone call.
The best thing is to treat him like he is one of your friends and be your self.
Give him a call if he doesnt call in 3-5 days. :bouncysmi

It may be possible that he's one of those guys who loose things. (this may or may not be a good thing...) loosing stuff, I mean.

Wait a few days and if he doesn't call you, then you just call him.

If he hasn‘t called you back in 2-3 days,
Maybe it’s because he honestly lost your phone number.

Maybe he’s too shy to make that first phone call.

If you do call him first, you can always say that you got to thinking about it, and since he said he’d call you but hadn‘t yet (remind him that he made a commitment) … you wondered if he might have lost your phone number.

That way …
You actually take a lot of pressure off him, by giving him an excuse for not having called you.

If you do end up calling him first … I recommend that that you don’t make it some sort of marathon conversation, but just a quick courtesy call of sorts,
Remember … you’re calling him to see if he lost your number.
Keeping the call short leaves your own self esteem intact.

You can say something along the lines of .. “enjoyed his conversation when you met, and that you hope your paths cross again”
Then listen for his response .. And the tone he responds with.

His response should tell you if he’s happy to hear from you,
Or whether he is, or isn’t, interested in you.

But I say … Call Him If You Want To!!

I think you should call him. It shows him that you are strong and not a weak person who needs someone to take the initiative for them.
