Hey has anyone tried these yet? They're pretty darn good!
They're from Wolfgang Puck and they are self-heating cans of coffee at around $2.00 (1.99 at the stores out here) a can for 10 oz!

I've tried the Rich Caramel Latte and it's yummy!!!!

I wondered how long this would take... Once they came up with the MRE's, I knew that coffee and 7-11 burritos were next.

How funny!

I got one of those. The self-heating thing was cool, but the coffee itself wasn't all that great. Maybe I need to try a different flavor. Definately a nice idea, though, for when I'm in class 6 hours a day with no break. Good to be able to have something to drink.

Oooh! I'll have to try it. I can't tell ya how many times I run to the coffee pot just to warm mine up. Sweet!

I'm not so sure I want a chemical reaction heating my coffee. :wtf:

And I had to comment on this from the article:

Starbucks won't comment on the Puck coffee, but spokesman Alan Hilowitz says, "Starbucks is about great coffee and a relaxing experience."

Ol' Alan Hilowitz has apparently never seen my husband in a Starbucks. Relaxing?! He and the barrista at the Starbucks we visited in downtown Seattle (while on vacation, mind you) nearly came to blows. Somehow I can't get my mind wrapped around the idea of Starbucks as a "relaxing experience."

When are they going to make self-heating ramen cups (like in Cowboy Bebop)? ^_^

Sounds kind of gross to me....and lazy. I guess I like my freshly brewed coffee too much. :)
