June 18-19 is Covington's ren faire. One of the groups of performers is the pickled brothers sideshow, if you haven't seen them you should. This is a German Ren fair as there is a german festival going on a couple blocks away. Come see it, good times, good people. The 17th is my b-day, so come down saturday and say hi. I'm not hard to find, big burly guy with a huge beard and I will probably wear my gold skull helm.

covington KY, its on the other side of the river from cincy. On I-75S it is the first exit into KY (5th st) coming N its the last exit before the river

also this is a smaller faire which means more local vendors, more reasonable prices, and no admission charge

Excellent thank you so much!

My husband and I will be there on the 19th, we can't come on the 18th as we have a 'cousins gathering' that day but as soon as it's over we're heading your way!

Hopefully we'll run into one another.

Oh darn, darn, darn!! I'll be in Cinti on the 15th to see my holistic pain management doc, but I'll have to be back in Nashville by the 16th! (We go right through "Covington, Y'all!") Darn! Darn! Darn! :wah2:

wonderful, it is possible I could be out both days. Make sure you check out the pickled brothers, they are one of the best sideshows in the US. As they are locals they do several shows locally, but they have headlined for major bands and do travel the country. Frack is in the Guiness book of world records, they have turned down a few catagories Travis has tried for (most consecutive whip cracks while swallowing a sword) but he is trying for a few existing records. Also some of the food on Main Strausse is the best German food you will find. Also you should check out the whole area as covington has a rich history and is a wonderful town.

well we went... had alot of fun! The drive down was absolutely gorgeous. We'd never had Goetta before.... so my hubby ate it and I tasted it... odd stuff, but he liked it. Saw a couple vendors we know from going to other shows so that was cool too!
Thanks so much for letting us know about it.

Not a problem, its one of my favorite events in the area. I am also good friends with the Pickled Brothers Sideshow and try to assist them in promotion. Glad you enjoyed it
