Hello all! I am new to MW...here is a little background information on me and why I decided to join:

I have lived in the Nashville, Tennessee area my entire life. My family are strict Southern Baptists, and that is how I was raised. So for the first 16 years of my life I went to a Baptist church and was taught nothing but "you're going to hell." By the time I was 16 my parents decided that I didn't have to go to church if I didn't want to. I have always been interested in Paganism, but since I quit going to church I have pretty much been agnostic. For some reason, I have recently been craving some sort of religion, hence the title of this thread.

I have read through some of the boards, and this seems like a very friendly and helpful place for someone like me to begin.

Hi, welcome. When I left christianity I was pretty much agnostic. More of an
apathetic agnostic. But I also had a craving like yours; to find my spirituality.
I'm still searching and finding my way. I think you'll learn here.

My father was raised Baptist, though my mother tried to raise me Roman Catholic. ANYWAY, I stopped going to church when I was twelve, and I was agnostic for about four years...and now I'm here. :) I think I've found my niche. I hope you do as well!
