I'll cheer for you! Good luck!
I could never do something like that, I admire people who can preform in plays like that because I have troubles even being in front of people.

Oh man, I live for acting. I love being onstage and just being able to become anyone I want...
No, I didn't get the lead role...because there is no lead role. It's a collection of a bunch of little unrelated scenes, and I'm happy because I got into the one I wanted. Oh and it's great because there's another female part opened up because the girl who had it dropped out, and I'm going to audition for that as well. I doubt I'll make it, 'cause there are really good actors there, but it'll be fun just auditioning. Besides, I'm already in the play. :D

Congratulations! I wish I knew how you feel-too bad only the rich kids got the parts in plays at my high school.
Don't mean to rain in your parade...CONGRATULATIONS, really!

break a leg kiddo!
(for those not familiar with the theatre, it's bad luck to wish someone "good luck", just as you don't mention shakespeare's scottish play by name. it's said to have a curse on it.)

Hey, awesome!!! Congratulations! Acting is incredibly fun, I know. And in most cases, it doesn't matter which part you get (as you already seem to know) because just being up there is fun. Great job and break a leg!

Actually, I have a funny story about that.
A couple of years ago, there was a girl in my drama class, who, the day before the play, hopped down from the stage and actually did break her leg...
...hmm, perhaps someone wished her good luck?? Lol.
