Hello, My name is Lauren and I am very new to Paganism. I have been practicing for about one year and I study very hard. I stumbled upon the Pagan path after I heard about it in school when we were studying the Witch trials. I am in a very small and close-minded town in Michigan, so I am looking for any contact with fellow Pagans that I can find. I am half-in, Half-out of the broom closet. My mom and a few friends know, but I have no problem being in the closet. I hope that I can learn alot from this forum

I've read Wicca for the Solitary Practioner, and parts of Living Wicca. I really want to read his book on Herbs and Kitchen Witchery. I've also read Progressive Witchcraft by Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone. That was a very good book, it was indeed "progressive". I thought that it did away with old stigma quite nicely :hehehehe: .

I have practiced some Magick, but not alot. I've done a few simple spells and I've experimented with rituals at Yule and Beltane, but other than that, not alot.
