Ever since i can remember i've had dreams that repeat until after afew weeks they actually happen, in real life. For example 2 weeks ago;
START DREAM
I went out to see my dog and tell him dinner was ready. usually as soon as i mention dinner he leaps up and races around like a maddog. but instead he groaned and fell flat on his nose so i rushed to help him up. i pulled him up on his paws and he stumbled to his kennel then lay down again.
END DREAM
it went on for a week, every night the same dream. then last night it acually happened. i dont know what to think. because if i think about it, i found Ceasar (my dog) in my dreams about 5 yrs ago.
START DREAM
i went to look at the local bulliten board (in Motueka) to see what animals were for sale and i saw the cutist pik of a chubby 7 yr old Golden Retriever with a huge grin on his face. as soon as i told dad we went to sdee the owner and there he was, the most adorable dog i ever saw.
END DREAM
and then almost 2 months later i acually went to the bulliten board and there was the add. i didnt relise it was the same as what i had dreamt until we got to Freds house and i saw Caesar. i almost collapsed with shock.
Why does this happen??? i've been trying to figure it out for ages. can anyone shed any light on the subject? :whatmewor

It's just a quick look at the future. As to why it happens -who knows for sure

But in my experience its because such dreams start of as quite normal everyday type of events and can grow into something much more useful (giving you information that is useful to know)

Thanks SoulHealer. Have you ever had a dream about the future? Or has anyone else here?

Yes I have had plenty of dreama about the future, for years it was really trivial things but in the last couple of years I've started dreaming about bigger more important matters

i hope-if i have any more dreams of the future-that the next one is something positive. its not that encouraging that most ive had before have had bad outcomes.

I've had dreams like that too... and quite a few of them have had a negative thing happen... but I've learned to think of it as a preparation for things to come... a way of expecting the unexpected.
