Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone can help me and give me some advice or a spell to do with my new Crystal :)

I was given a Amethyst Ring Cluster Crystal by my mother for my birthday (28th December).
Its absolutely beautiful and like a 'church' crystal, a whole piece of crystal in a ring but without the back that churches have, so you can put your hand right thorugh it ~ this gives you a tingly sensation then your hand goes all warm from the healing powers :)

I have been told that this structure is great for meditation as you can focus on the ring and maybe put a mirror behind the crystal to gaze into. But Im not sure how to properly do this and what others things I can use it for.

Can anyone tell me how to properly meditate with it, what the formations history is and if I can use this for a particular spell?

I can't tell you a particular spell, but I can tell you when to use it. Amythest is a form of quartz crystal. It responds to your seventh chakra for enlightenment, and higher consciousness. It also is used to attract strong, platonic friendship, as well as helping you to get in contact with your higher self.

Hope this is helpful.:)

Whenever I touch amythist it makes this little spot above my eyebrows feel likes its tense... same thing if you put the end of a stick near it too. Maybe you can use it for focusing? I think that might be what it does.

I like to use my amythest to help me direct my psychic energies during divination and spell work. :)

Amethyst is also frequently referred to as the "Sobriety
