It's right by the Queen Charlotte Islands. (I live about an hour and a half away from Prince Rupert)

I live in a town/city (it's too big to be a town, too small to be a city) called Chambersburg in Pennsylvania in the United States. It's historically significant...if anyone's seen the movie "Gettysburg," it's 26 miles from there.

the alaska panhandle, almost in canada and on the water. snows at about 800 ft and coming down lower every day

In central California near Visalia, amidst the ranches, citrus, walnut, olive, and pomgranet groves, near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I am in view (on a clear day) of Mt. Whitney but as of yet this season, there is no snow on the Sierras.
