Thanks everybody. Yes, she got a script for pain meds last week when she first saw the dentist and scheduled the extraction. She says it started out fine, although it came out in bits and pieces and the dentist had to cut the bone to get out the last bit, but when that last bit was coming out it felt like the root went all the way down to her gut and she could tell that they had the right tooth after all. Owie. And several stitches!

The "little one" is a 31 year old mother of two. But when you're coping with something like this you still want your mommy to take care of you, eh? I went and got her a banana cream pie shake from Sonic. ;)

Thank you all so much. She was finally able to sleep last night, after more than a week of having trouble sleeping because the bad tooth was hurting so much. She ate spagetti for supper last night and was able to go to work today. Actually, going to work is usually good because it keeps your mind occupied instead of thinking how crappy you feel.
