I'm interested in learning Gaelic (Irish Dialect) and Norwegian.
I will be in the US next month and I'm hoping to find a couple of books to help me study these languages, by myself.

Any reccomendations for self study books for these languages?

Thankies!

I'm about to start a set of 2 cds and a book called "Teach Yourself Irish" that I found in a local bookstore yesterday - I'm only just learning myself, but if you want, I can post how it seems to be once I tear into it.

As far as Norwegian goes, you need to get a CD or tape set. You can learn grammar from a book, but as far as correct pronunciation, you have to listen to native speakers.
