Are you a day or night person?

Definately a night person.....which really doesn't help the fact that I have to get up at 6:30am to be at work by 8:30.
I hate getting up early and it's always a chore getting to bed early.....

Well it's 6:10am here and I haven't slept yet; I've been going to bed around noon and then getting up sometime between 5-7pm. Hm does that make me a night person or a day person... :)

Yeah I definately would say night, It's about 5:20 where I'm at, but when I do go to sleep I'll be waking up around 11 so....

In my younger days, I was a night owl- I remember going out to clubs at 11pm. Now if I am awake at 11pm, it is because one of my kids must be up sick!

Being a mom sure changes things. :D

Night person does not begin to detail me.
I actually enjoy the cold darkness that night gives. It is so cold it sends chills, but they are nice, down my spine. To me it isnt quieter, only noisey in a different way.
I also get a very eire(sp) and humbling feeling when I look up at the stars at night.

ummmmm..i'm a half afternoon, and half night person. I'm definately not a morning person. I mentally "wake up"..in the afternoon...then I get sleepy around dinner time, then I get a second wind late at night. So...i don't reaaaaaaaaly fit into the categories..I'm strange.

I'm a daytime person. I'm up 6:00AM and in bed buy 9:00PM. I get more things done before most people wake up. Now if only the stores would open before 10 or 11. :sunny:

I love the quiet of the night. I love sitting outside late at night, and listen to the winds rustle through the trees. Especially if it's a full moon night. OOOOHHH!

I can't seem to get to bed until 2 or 3am but have to get up still at 6am.

I'm most definitely a night person. I love when the moon and stars come out. I like to stay up late just doing whatever I feel like. I love night sounds. :cool:

I DON'T like getting up in the morning. I have to be at work at 8am, so I get up at 6:30am. Such an obscenely early time of day to be up, IMO! :sick::eek::ugh:

Yet I won't work a night/2nd shift job because I like to have my nights free to relax and do as I please. So I deal with the day job.

i'm strange with then Danustouch! I am definitely NOT a morning person. I can be down right EVIL in the AM (ask eshallet!!!). But I have to be at work by 9 am, and my son needs to be in school by 8:30 am, so I have no choice. I like to be up at night, just to do stuff. Write, goof around on the computer, study, hang out.

when I was in college, i wouldn't be caught out downtown before 11 pm, now, if I do go out, it's like at 8 pm and I'm usually home by 1 am.

Gotta be the Mommy thing, like Chrissy said. :D

I'm deffinitely a night person... If I'm woken up before noon, I'm a monster. Usually, I don't get home until 6 or 7 in the morning.. but that way I get the best of both worlds.. I get to watch the sun set, and I get to watch the sun rise. :)

The sun zaps all my energy... not a big fan of the sun.

It seems to be a common theme amoung us here that we all seem to be NIGHT people.

And I too am a night person. Night owls RULE :thumbsup: Perhaps its because we like to be able to see the world when it is sleeping... I have seen in when it is awake... and it is completly different, and somehow more peaceful when it is dorment and asleep. I however also like to take Long (several hours long) walks in the night. I have been known to walk all the way across town for no specific reason.

However... I also LOVE the early mornings. There is something about watching the sun rise over the mountins, bathing the land in soft light, as the entire natural world wakes from its nightly slumber, which can not be replicated by anything...

I have always felt safer at night and i love to walk around in my back yard at night abd listen to the sounds of the animals!!!

I sleep from about noon til 8pm...I get a good bit of sunlight in the morning...other than that, it's mostly dark. I prefer starlight and moonlight. :D

Everything cool happens at night. It also tends to be the best time for inspiration for me. I write my best stuff at night, and will spend all hours of the night doing it till the sun rises. Then you usually here me yell, " Oh Crap! I gotta go to work!"

Definately a night person, although I love the daytime too. With my shift 3:30-midnight, I almost have no choice but to live in the night.
