I am going to use my Sforza & my Baphomet decks; they express Death better than any of my decks.
If anyone has a Death they would like to ask about, anyone who you either were close to & loved, or admired & loved... I might even rise to the occasion with a brand-new spread of my own.
Anyone interested in an experiment to give grief a place to go?
(I'll put up 1 card from the Visconti & 2 from the Baphomet, so that you know what they look like.)

I would definatly be up for this - may even try this myself afterwards.
But first, what type of question would you like us to ask? Is it a spread to contact the person who passed over? Or a question about their death?
I could give you a brief description of their passing and relationship to me, but not quite sure what to ask.

I wouldn't mind a reading to help you test 'em out. I was wondering the same thing FGM was. I have one, and I can describe plenty, but I'm not sure what to ask. Is it just a general reading surrounding the death or...?

Wonderful! This is about your bond, & a possible message from their Spirit. I see it being about how you feel about their passage, & possible communication, like I said. I will check back in a bit - you can PM me if you like, rather than posting. I'll PM the readings; just fill me in a little on details.

Ok, i'd like to know (& hear) from my gran, my dads mother. She died in 1999 just before christmas, i never got to go and see her before she died, which really upset me and i was never invited to the cremation or the scattering of her ashes. It really cut me up at the time, and i think it'd be nice to hear something about/from her.
I hope this is ok, and enough information, let me know if there is anything else you need to know.

I'm with FGM....I'd like to participate and may try it afterwards as well. I have a favorite uncle who died several years ago that I quit talking to because his cancer made him unbearably mean. He died horribly and alone. I didn't go to his service becuase my family is FAR from behaved at funerals. I've felt guilty about not talking to him ever since. I guess I"d like to know if he forgives me and whatever he may have to say. Thanks alot.

My grandfather (maternal) died just a few days after September 11....with all of the crazyness surrounding that time, and issues with travel, I was unable to see this incredible man in his last days. He was a devout Catholic in life, a wonderful story teller, and well, just an amazing grand father. He was 80 when he died. I have always thought that if I ever had the opportunity to speak to anyone who has passed on, it would be him, I would love to get his take on things.....

So....this is a reading to help with grieving and the loss of someone?
I would like one on my Brother, please. I do not know what to ask on this...so, I will just say....Allen is his name and.....well.....whatever comes through with that to see what happens.
So, when you get the time....thank you!
Feel free to post it here on this thread...it does not need to be a PM...though if that is better for you, that is fine with me as well.

1) The Impact (The Theme of the Crisis) - 9 of Swords
This death feels so unfair - you are bereft. It has caused you anguish & suffering, & the wound has taken long to heal. A harmonious state has been rent & destroyed; you feel there is no going back to the way things once were. It also represents the perspective of time, however, & the way it "heals all wounds" in that you eventually do regain a certain equilibrium... but it still hovers in your unconscious, unrelinquished.
2) The Deluge (The Consequence of the Crisis) - 2 of Staves
Looking back over the past seems to be here. There is a certain feeling of plans that you may have made that were never to be. You were "watching for your ship to come in", & watched it sink before your eyes. There was great promise once in this life. Your brother's maturation was cut short even as you watched; he had a strong personality, & stood to attain many goals. So, the consequence of all this is a feeling of unfulfillment; I even believe that the lack of fulfillment may yet be on your brother's side, which he may retain traces of.
3) The Darkening of Light (Physical Chill) - The Emperor
This is the very card of physicality incarnate: your brother with his health & strength abruptly taken. Your nadir was reached with his death. His personality left a negative space shaped like him; but his spiritual essence has gone elsewhere - it has at least changed planes, though he still is present in some way. All the male roles of this card were the things he aspired to - now he has attained a different level, leaving you behind on this one to both suffer the consequences & learn from the experience. You project his image into the likeness of "The Emperor" - a strong, physical male presence. This is the negative image which your brother no longer inhabits.
4) The Greenhouse Effect (Emotional Overheating) - 5 of Coins
This one shows you bereft once again; yet, there is an overwhelming sense that your grief has the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel". You feel the grief of it, but you fail to see the light shining on you from afar. Greater enlightenment awaits you; assimilation of your brother's death is essential to him to move on. This is his strongest message. (I find it significant that more than 1 other reading had this card turn up, even in the same position!) This is a card of grief, & also of letting go.
5) End & Beginning (Human Beings) - 7 of Cups
Where to start - where to go from here? Look at what is ahead, seems to be the message. You have great expectations, & they may yet be reality; but where is your thinking wishful? You may be fruitlessly wishing your brother back. You may still get an inkling of his presence, if you are open to it; but his place is having moved on, with you in charge of your own life. Live it wisely & well.
I sincerely hope this is of help!

Very interesting reading....
Yes, it has helped and yes, it does reflect the sittuation.
It was years ago that he died but it was one of the biggest scars in my life, it shaped and changed my life so much. I have tried to let it go...to some extent I have but I do still wonder/wish/imagine what if and even get angry still...this is a very hard thing to let go of, I just do not understand why it is either. He was the only blood relative I had that I know of and we were close....I have managed to move on and I do live this life well and cherish it very much...I suppose his death will never sit well with me and somehow I need to come to terms with it and somehow really let it go ( this is still a challange for me ).
Thank you very much Dear, for all your time and effort on my reading, I appreciate it very much.
(((((hugs))))

hi there, not sure how to go about this, so here it goes.
i would love to hear form 2 people if possible. the first is my grnadmothers Second husband Jim Sneddon, he passed away when i was 3, but i still dream of him, and i know he loved me alot, and worshipped my gran. He passed in '81.
There is also his brother , Bob Sneddon, who after a time went to live with my gran, and also loved her , and i very much, he is someone i dream of often and think about alot, and he passed while i was 11, around '89. I would also like to know what he thinks of me now, and wonder if its him and my granddad that are with me, from time to time.

All right, I can do this in the order it was asked along with some other people asking for readings; I have switched to the Glow-In-The-Dark RWS Tarot, but will use the Baphomet spread.
After this, I must declare this thread closed as I am getting behind on other things (!). I am sure you out there will understand. I will return after some time to do more of these readings as I see they are very wanted, but right now I must concentrate elsewhere. Again, please be watching for a further offer & thanx so much for letting me read for you!
(P.S. Any posts not in reference to what has been posted already will not be answered.)
