Ok you're all going to have to bear with me, I've taken all the letters off of my keyboard so that I can learn how to type quickly without looking down at the letters so there may be times when I have like 105 typo's.

Cool, You have more guts than I do! :) Good luck-you actually took the letters OFF? couldn't you have just put some masking tape on each one and it'd have been a little easier? :)

:D I have keyboarding 5th hour this marking period at school and I have learned well enough. But that doesn't mean I'd actually TAKE THE LETTERING OFF, though it would be interesting. :)

Keyboarding... ha ha that just strikes me as funny. When I was in junior high it was still called typing class.

Yeah, I'm one of those geeks who can type fast. My mom, who's been a legal secratary all her life, and can type really fast, was amazed at how fast I could type with one hand (holding the baby with the other).

back in the 80s when I was in school, they had these big A$$ ibm selectrics LOL heavy too LOL and they had this thing that they put over the keyboard called a blinder and your hands just fit inside to type......LOL needless to say, mousetraps were contraban in my day heheh yes I actually wass mean enough to put a mouse trap on an unsuspecting cheerleader.......*grins

Another fun thing to do is to go to your control panel keyboard settings and set your keyboard to Dvorak. Dvorak was a keyboarding layout that came after QWERTY (the standard) - basically QWERTY was designed to slow down people's typing, when typewriters first came out the little arms used to jam if you typed too fast. So Dvorak is easier to type with, more intuitive. My letters on my board aren't wearing off yet - usually I end up denting the keys too but they are safe for now :)

keyboards...I didn't realize there were letters on those keys...wow, find out new stuff everyday!!! I was under the assumption that if I thought it, it would just appear on the screen.....wow was I wrong...all this time I was typing...

in school on those ole manual wrist breakers. Back then I didnt have to worry about jamming the arms, the fastest I reached in that class was about 50 w/o errors. I can type faster now, but thanks to modern tech. I have lots of errrrors!!
