I was bored yesterday, so I started reading some in my mythology book (it's mostly Greek, with a little Roman.) As many of you are probably aware, in ancient times, particular cities were associates with particular deities, spirits, saints, or heroes. Yeah, you can see where this is going.

Who (or what) do you suppose Mysticwick's patron deity/spirit would be? Would the whole site have one, or would each individual forum have one? For instance, who would be the patron of Just Talk, or The Green Room, etc? I figure a lot of people on here know more about mythology than me, so I thought this would be a fun question to think about.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....it would be fun to "assign" different patrons to each forum.
Considering Political Pagan usually devolves into flames, I vote Ares,Hephaestus, or Thor for the PP patron :heybaby: !

The only answer to me (I am biased of course) is Dhejuty/Thoth/Tehuti, because he is the God of writing, communication, etc. He is the Word God! He is the Idea God, He is the Man! LOL

Personally, I think it should be Joe Willliam Shed, Jr., a deity in my eyes and heart - a more godlike man never walked this board or this earth.
