HEY! No raining on our parade. We can use this to get ideas. Most of us here in the US can't even afford to have that thing shipped.

Now... who needs a wife? :nyah:

Sure they're pretty, but for a wedding? each to his own,but I'd be too superstitious about the old poem; Married in red, you're better off dead
Maried in yellow, your lover is shallow......
And this gown has both! Oh well...........here's to bucking tradition! _happydanc

My mom got married in white. My dad turned out to be an ass. My mom has told me that I am the only good thing that came from that marriage. On a sidenote, it could have been avoided. My mom had a good boyfriend throughout high school. He's no looker, but he was in both her prom pics. She told me that he wanted to wait until they were in their 30's to have kids. Mom said no. She didn't know my dad very long. They married Oct 30, 1982 I was born Aug 8, 1983 (at 7 and a half months). Yippee! I'm the result of impatience. :nyah:

My Gran got married in her sister in law's dress, and she's been married since um... She got married when she was um, 18? She's 62, and still married. :woot: Got married to her high school sweetie :cutie:

So, I've learned color means well... nothing.

It's too bad stores that sell "wedding" gowns don't carry the styles in more colours, I'm sure they'd find a market for them :abanana:

I agree. Myself, I would love to wear an wedding dress that isn't white because I don't think I look that good in white. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that poem about the color of the wedding dress started back in the Dark Ages? It's just superstitious rubish IMO.

Damn. Those are absolutely beautiful. That would be a cool wedding theme. Ren style. That has seriously got to be expenisive. I love that style of clothes and most things from that era. That's why I love the Ren Faire's so much.

LMAO heck yeah!
Even better, if they want to eat, let them bring over the food.. Every guest should cook/back something... others who cant cook should bring plastic utensils, cups and plates... the rest.. can bring drinks..

Problem solved! :D

Wow those are gorgeous , love the colours.

And bah to the colour theory. I was married in a teal skirt, yellowish cream shrit and burgundy overcoat. Ren themed weddings are alot of fun.

Um.... Uh.... Er... :foh:
My Gran jokingly said I should just get married in my Ren Dress. I only have one. It's from a 10th grade report on Anne Boleyn. The first pic is from 2 or 3 years ago. The next one is from last year. I don't like the overcoat, not what I wanted.
but that description you gave, wow, just wow...

eta:
It's not as poofy in the second pic, I only had on one crinoline. That dress gets HOT, even in October! The first ones were taken for the sole purpose of photos, I was borrowing a cousin's wedding crinoline. The dog, is Reesa, she was my half collie half sheltie. She's in Summerland now.
