Hello all...

I was just wondering if anyone else here on the site is psychic? I just "awoke" in my psychic abilities. I started realizing things that I had always been a bit psychic because things started to unravel for me in front of my eyes... What abilities do you have, or don't you know? And for how long?

:vanish: I prefer seer myself! I've had the abilities since I was around 11 years old that's when they started coming out. I'm now 34 years old so I've got alot of different once like prophetic, warning, esp, survival and so on mine is the gift of vision and I talk about them in the dreams threads and the dream interpretation course.

Long story sorta short:

The first experience I can recall was when I was about 13 (20 years ago). I was at home and all of a sudden I got this feeling of fear, confusion and disorientation then a short time later, relief. A little while after that we got a call and before my mom said anything I knew it was the hospital calling to say my dad had been in an accident.

Not much happened after that until about 6 years ago when I had a premonition about my dad's death. Interesting experience but wish it wasn't about my own dad. I think. :ggrief: :confused:

Since then I've seen a crossing (my sister's dog. Human, animal, doesn't seem to matter with me), had fore and concurrent knowledge (my sister's cat, my husband's aunt), felt the crossing of an injured feral cat I had to have put down (I still consider that one to be an incredibly beautiful gift from the cat) and experienced/saw a death that happened in my mom's last house (at least I think that's what happened. still not sure).

I occassionally communicate with my cats, sometimes see auras, have had visits by loved ones (human and animal) and I seem to be able to tell when a pregnant woman is close to birth (I guess I'm picking up on the changes in her energy field). :woah:

Not in the Sylvia Browne sense, but I do seem to be able to get a feel of a person very quickly. In the past I have tried to fight my intuition- especially if I have negative vibes coming from someone that everyone else loves. It's harder than it would seem not to let other people's judgement of a person or situation cloud my gut feelings, but I really try to go with what I feel now and it has been working very well. Maybe this isn't what you meant by psychic, but I do consider myself Intuitive- at least by my own definition.

Um... kinda. Mine just show up as they darn well please. So, sometimes I don't even notice what it was until later.
I'll give a few examples:
I was in a Target with my best friends. I was perfectly fine, when WHAM my stomach hurt. I heard a lady from few yards away tell her friend that her stomach hurt. They walked off, and just like that, my stomach ache was gone.
My friend and I have the ability to pick up the energy of items in antique stores. (previously owned items). We test it out, by showing each other random objects and going... get anything? We always picked the same things. Not sure what you'd call that. I don't get any memories... just feelings and impressions.
I've seen ghosts, human and animal.
I've seen colored orbs. Then again that COULD have been ball lightning, but there was no storm that night...
I call this one, the most useless gift ever: There have been times when I'd get a name or thingy stuck in my head. Then it'd show up on TV. (No I don't read tv guide or check local listings)
A few years ago, I had this weird dream, anyhow it ended with me being given a long haired black puppy with a red collar. I had totally forgotten this dream. If I didn't have a journal, I wouldn't have picked up on this. On June 21, 2004, my collie had a single puppy. She's half lab. Thus longhaired black puppy. We got her a bandana.. it's red.

I am, and it's wonderful. I didn't start out with a set of abilities... I began as a sleeper (non-aware, non-psychic person), got up off my bum, and ripped a chunk out of the Universe and tossed it into my body. I've been psychic for 5 years, began really wimpy, and I'm a lot better.
Some abilities I have (but are not limited to) seeing through all directions in time (as far as hundreds of years back and forward), reality hopping, some light tk, and other forms of fooling around. Like summoning a cheese elemental. :clapping:

I forgot about one. I was sitting around the house when I had the worst feeling of dread I've ever experienced. I just KNEW something bad had happened. Later that night, I found out my neighbor (whom I've never even met) had to be taken to the hospital for some heart related problems.

Another time I randomly smelled smoke for a few months. It was at night. Nothign was on fire, no candles, no fireplace. NOTHING. And yet I could smell smoke plain as day. Well one day we had a lightening storm, and a neighbor's house caught fire.

I've been screwing around. I can do a little tk. I've noticed that I've been able to know things for quite sometime. IE I was talking on the phone with my now ex-gf and she said "Ow!" and I knew what happened, how, and what happened after the fact, like I saw it in my head. This also happened in elementary school. I was walking down the hall and a vision or picture popped into my head. I saw someone from 20-30 feet away throw something (I think it was an eraser). Milliseconds later, something hit me in the back of the head and I heard a couple of guys laughing. It was WEIRD. Now that I think of it, maybe I've been "psychic" longer than I thought.

yes, I found the psychic abilities class... So far, the only "ability" that I've truely come across that I know I am well at is telepathy. Apparently I've had telepathy for several years, but I never knew it, I figured it was all coincidence, you know? I also had a psychological link between me and my ex-bestfriend/girlfriend (she was my bestfriend for 2 years, then I was her boyfriend for 22 days). Well, I would frequently hear her voice in my head, I could hear her thoughts and whatnot. Well, I also figured out that my negative thinking was sent to her brain and her thoughts were altered, so she broke up with me (I was thinking all the time that I thought it might end because I'm very bad with girls... because of the telepathy, I always think something bad in a relationship is going to go bad, and it does. But I send the negative thoughts to the female and her brain takes them in, makes them her own, and it ends.) I hope to get over that hump soo. I tend to use my telepathic abilites when I'm not thinking about it, like when I'm doing a test... I've heard some answers before, but mainly when I'm concentrating on a test or something of that sort, I hear my name being whispered into my ears... only once. It's happened several times, and each time, this whisperer only whispered my name once. It's odd, I plan on discovering more about myself, I'm looking for someone I can partner up with somewhere around where I live, but people here are skeptical, so it's tough.
