Everybody's got a nick name of some sort.I was just wondering what they were and why you were given them!
Mine are (I've got a couple):

Gilbert - From the movie "what's eating gilbert grape"

Char-from the people who are too lazy to say my entire name

Charlie- my family calls me that for short.

Oh yeah and my friend and I have been given conjointed ones--
Beavis and Butt head, Romy and Michelle..etc.

My given name is Josie Breeze...I get flack from that movie that Drew Barrymore was in (Never Been Kissed) ie: Josie Grossie....lovely rhyme scheme...my nephew calls me yo-yo because he couldn't say Jo Jo and it just kinda stuck. My neice on the other hand, I like to tease and call Penelope...I have no idea why it makes her mad, but she calls me it right back. My mom calls me Jo Bear...I had a fascination with teddy bears when I was little. My mother also calls me Jose simply because the people at the DMV think that I am a hispanic male and always overlook the i in josIe...I got junk in high school for my last name since I ran cross country and track and played soccer. "Wow, and here comes the Breeze" or I'd walk into a room and get "Gee, it's awfully Breezy in here, don't cha think?" My friends however call me Chicken (Cow and Chicken), Fly girl (I'm enlisted in USAF), and my significant other calls me princess and kitten...junk like that. I've always had nicknames, just never any that have really stuck with me.
