As I had posted awile back, we lost one of our black cats. Well, last night I heard a cat meowing in distress. I went outside and could tell it wasn't one of my big boys we keep in a big pen. There was a little orange and cream tabby cat up in my car engine. We got him out and he took off. Later, I went out to give my big boys some chicken scraps and there was that cat. He had sqeezed into the pen and was happy as a clam. My outdoor boys aren't fixed but they were just loving up on this cat. He's about 8 - 10 weeks old I'd guesstimate and definately a male. Nobody in the neighborhood knows anything about him so I guess he's claimed me.

That is very kind of you to take in the stray kitten. Such a blessing.

We've named him Draco. He's got a pointy face, reminded me of Draco in Harry Potter books. He's adjusting well to being a pampered house cat. He's getting better about letting us pet him too.

I got one of my kitties that way too.. Now I have 7, 8 if you count the one little blind kitty that is staying with me temporarily.
Congratulations on your new furbaby!

Draco has taken his place in the family! He has his "spot" on one of the sofa pillows. He crawled up on my chest this evening and started purring. Slept on me until I had to get up for a bathroom run. My oldest mama cat has given him a bath and he's found the kitty toys.
