Carnelian.
The Friendly One. This is a highly evolved healer, aiding kidneys, lungs, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and tissue regeneration whilst revitalising the blood. Energises the physical, emotional and mental self. It is a good balancer as it helps you connect with your inner self, giveing good concentration and opening your heart. It brings joy, sociability and warmth.
Seams a bit of an all rounder to me :D

In my practice, if Carnelian is given to a woman of a child baring age, it would assist her in clearing up blockages that could prevent her from getting pregnant. For a man it usually have a calming happy affect and better understanding and relating to a female.
Blessings

A friend of mine suggested that I should wear it when doing speaking engagements or teaching workshops. So, I bought a silver ring with a medium size piece of carnelian set on it.
I have found that it keeps me from feeling drained when I give a workshop or lecture. It seems to block, absorb, or re-direct energy in a positive way. I have discovered that if I do not wear it when teaching that I can become exhausted dealing with the energy of students or an audience.
I have also discovered that when worn with jet, it protects during dream working and astral settings. I often wear them together when I sleep.
Best regards - Raven

I believe this is why they call carnelian an "actor's stone". Because it helps with speaking and/or projecting yourself to others.
BTW it was a pleasant surprise to see you post here Mr.Grimassi.

I wear a combo of Carnelian, Hematite and Quartz. I am an empath, bipolar and have ADD, is this a decent combo?

I would skip the hematite and substitute it through brasilian agate

I recently put this necklace together. It features a large old carnelian center stone and smaller round carnelian beads as well as old Ventetian trailed and eye beads.

I have a pair of silver earrings set with carnelean and black onyx. I would usually wear them when I went on job interviews. I also have some loose stones I keep in my healing bag. I love carnelean. The ancient egyptians also used it in alot of ceremonial jewelery.

I have trouble with keeping Carnelian. I've lost 2 pieces of it since I started collecting stones. Now though I bought 3 or 4 of them recently and is keeping an eye on the one that I have sitting out from my stone bowl! Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Does anyone else have a hard time keeping their Carnelian pieces?

I've heard that when you lose a stone, it was meant to go somewhere or to someone else. Is that true, CZ?
I absolutley love my carnelian. I carry it with me wherever I go. I recently had a drug test for a job, and had to empty my pockets, and the lady asked me, "your lucky stone?" I said, yea, something like that. lol

i can't speak for CZ. but in my experience yes.
I had a bag full of pyrope garnets and one day a few of them wanted to explore my apartment so they scattered. now that they are done. they are slowly returning to the fold.

I have a Carnelian that is more yellowish than the pictures I have seen on the Internet where the stone is shown as bright red. I definitely feel more upbeat and open to communication with people when I have this stone in my pocket. The stone being a dream enhancer, can Carnelian be safely placed in the bedroom? I ask this because I vaguely remember having read something against it long ago.
Best wishes,:broomride
