Everyone,
So, Shannon was supposed to be discharged again today (SUNDAY) but she was still running a high fever. They decided to take her off the morphine (sp?) and give her t 3's...which took away the nausea, figures eh? SO she isn't sick to her stomach anymore, and is keeping the hospital food (if we can even call it that) down. As of tonight (just got back from seeing her) she has a low grade fever, nothing too serious though, but so far the doc has given us the green light to take her home tomorrow! WOO HOO! the only reason they couldn't let us take her home before was the high fever and the fact that she couldn't keep anything down. I really think that being home, actually getting some good rest will do the world for her. Don't forget some real food. ;)
We finally spoke to a doctor, he did say that the operation went well. they took the tissue and sent it to the lab. we should know what they did or didn't find by the end of this week. So we're hoping for a good recovery and no cancer!
I'll continue to leave updates on how she's doing.
Thank you guys SO SO SO much for EVERYTHING ounce of good vibes, prayers and happy thoughts. Its helped us get through this touch time. I know for myself, its hard leaving her at the hospital while we come home to a nice quiet...comfy house. I find that the hardest thing to do. But its getting easier knowing that its your positive thoughts and prayers that are keeping her company and helping her do so well.
Million thanks, brightest Blessings,
Adia (Kimberley)
