Okay, I've had prophetic dreams all my life, nothing overly complicated really. An example would be that with family or friends I don't talk to that often, I always seem to dream about that person the night before they call me. When I was younger my grandmother wanted me to try to tune into that more and make it more focused and stronger but as a child the idea of knowing things before they happened kind of scared me so I never really bothered. However,I feel as though a few dreams I've had lately are trying to tell me something so I would like to try to work on being more tuned in to that now.
The problem is that because I've never tried to focus it WHAT exactly they are trying to tell me I'm not sure. Really what it comes down to is the dream trying to tell me something that is to happen in the future or is the dream simply putting my emotions in perspective for me? I know that the best interpretor is the one who dreamt the dream so the fact that I'm even going back and forth about future vs. emotion for THESE particular dreams is what put up the red flag for me to begin with because I for one think Intuition is not to be ignored ;) . Sooooo after ALL that my question is Does anyone know of any exercises or tips for trying to make prophetic dreams become more tuned in and focused?
Thanks so much

Greetings, my seer abilities popped out when I was about 11 years old, I'm now in my mid 30's so I have a ton of experience with this stuff. Now being the dreams are trying to tell you something and your not fully tapped into it isn't necessarily(?) your fault it could be the the darn message just keeps getting interrupted.
If you'd like to tap into it more you can try a few things meditating in a really deep trans state which I like to do by self hypnosis, or by going to bed a little earlier before you get really tired. Lay there relaxing, clearing your mind letting yourself drift between the awake and sleep states, this is when I get most of my prophectic visions. It will leave you more excepting of the vision but again this my not be your at all, sometimes for no known reason the messages just get cut off. And you litterally have to try and piece the meanings together.
I hopr this helps you. If you'd like you can talk to me any time.

I too have preminitions, sometimes I see certain things before they happen, or certain dreams will come true.
My biggest fear at the moment is the reacurring nightmare that I have been having for a very long time now. I keep dreaming the my husband will die in a terrible work accident,(he works in construction.) I don't want this nightmare to become reality, but what can I do to keep it from happening?
I've tried to find other meanings in this nightmare, but there are none. It's the same dream, the same terrible thing happens. :heartbrea

Prophectic Dreams are dreams that WILL happen they can not be changed if your trying to change it , it won't happen if infact it is a prophectic dream. However if it is a Warning dream and you try to change it, it will change.
Ask yourself this do you feel an urgent nee to change the dream when you wake? If so it is in fact a warning dream and can be changed.
Again prophectic dreams are called this because they a vision of what WILL HAPPEN. Warning dreams are called this because of the URGENT FEEL TO NEED TOO CHANGE THE OUTCOME.
Now if you don't hav that urgent feeling and they are reoccurring dreams it's a symbolic dream of your fears that he will be hurt at work. You think its dangerous for him and would rather he worked a safer job. If you talk about your inner feeling with him he will reassure you he is safe and does all he can to stay safe. Talking out your feels will stop the dreams.

I've had some prophetic dreams although I havn't really realised it til the dreams have manafested themselves. I get kinda hit by a deja vu feeling thats so much stronger than just deja vu, and that seemingly insignificant dream all of a sudden comes flooding back to me.
Its a very cool feeling, but although I can dream everynight these prophetic dreams for me come once in a blue moon.

It's not that I don't feel the urgent need to change the outcome of this dream, it's the horrible fact that I can't!
The dream is that I either get a phone call from his boss or a police officer comes to my door and tells me that there has been an accident and my husband has ben killed.
I go completely hysterical, and later I am at my mother-in-laws trying to explain to her in my broken Spanish, that her only son is dead.
I don't know, maybe I am changing the dream a little; the last few times he has only been critically injured and hospitalized. I still have the same reaction though.
I have talked with him plenty of times about these terrifying nightmares, he will reassure me that if he feels uncomfortable doing something then he won't do it.
What if it is out of his control though? Something causedd by another worker, or faulty equipment, an earthquake bringing the building down?
I'm absolutely mortified because something deep iside of me is telling me that this is how my husband will die.
What's even scarrier, is I know that when I die, it will be by my own hand!
No one wants to predict their own, or a loved ones death.
I don't mind the power of preminition really, I just don't like these!!! :crystalba :flowers:
