Well this comes as no suprise to me that Joe should win this. I'm not really sure what to do with the banner I had made for this month.

That's my Baby - I knew when I posted it that he'd win. Since I posted it on his behalf, I'd be proud to accept and wear the banner on his behalf....if I can figure out how to add it.....

I've found the original drafts. It was originally called "The Race." He also makes reference to the charioteer in his story, The Dreamer, where his sister took his spot so he could live.

There is also an amazing painting that goes with it. His mom has it at her house.

Thank you all so much for appreciating his work. That poem very much tells the story of his life.
