hello :)
I grew up in a Christian/Humanist household, but mostly I was raised Christian. By the age of 14, I knew that Christianity wasn't my cup of tea, and began to go as "in search of" for a religion. My 2 younger sisters had begun studying Wicca when I was 15. At first I was reluctant to the idea. Our older sister had claimed to be "wiccan" when we were younger, when infact she was practicing satanism. I associated WitchCraft with evil, though I'd always had a facination with it. My sisters eventually got me to look at a few books and websites and I was hooked. It just clicked with me. My Mother, a devout Christian, was very angry that her 3 "little girls" had turned from the faith that had brought her so much joy. She felt like she had failed as a Mother. After about a year of talking with her, she gave us her permission to be practicing Wiccan Witches...with the agreement that we'd be careful with the candles. hehe :) I've found my calling in this path, and I'm glad to say our family is alright with it :) Blessed be! :)
