Hey all you nice new MW members! This has been done before, not sure where the post is, but I just wanted to give y'all a friendly reminder that if you have under 50 posts and you give someone a Karma poke, it is VERY helpful to the person receiving the poke if you say SOMETHING in the comment section! Here is why, your poke comes up as a gray dot, regardless of whether you meant to give us positive or negative karma, and well, sometimes, like a poke I recently received, we cannot be sure which you meant to give us.
I am sure we would all like to think that we are only receiving happy pokes, but sometimes, we annoy others (even when we are being respectful) and that is what the red karma is for...but, if it is gray, with no comment, we can't tell what your intent was, and well, that sort of defeats the purpose of giving karma at all, doesn't it?
