The coming New Moon

I have decided to redediticate myself to my path. I would like to do this at the next New Moon (july 6th, 2005) because it really would be a new beginning for me. I have read the moon magic forum for suggestions on new moon rites that I have taken them into account, but I am wondering if anyone else has done something like this on a new moon, and if it felt right for them. It feels right for me right now. What affect did the new moon have on the energy and power of your ritual?

According to what research I've done, "Dark" or "New" Moon is a symbol of rumors and secrets. It has a transformative energy, requires a great deal of self-knowledge, and encourages balance. It is also for the strenghtening of the will.

So yes, it seems a new moon would be quite condusive to the ritual you want to perform. :)
