The Michigan Ren Fest. Wolfie and Morr Meet up.

ok... I know I have spoken to a few people about this, and I have loose commitments from a few folks about attending. But since I wanted to make this offer to ALL friends on MW, I am making a public thread about the happenings.

On Saturday, August 13th, Morr ( yes, the pretty little thing from Israel ) is going to be here in Michigan, visiting yours truley. She and I are planning on using this date as the day we are going to hang out at the Michigan Renn Faire in Holly.

So, here is your chance. Meet Wolfie ~ and~ Morr and have a good time seeing the Renn Fest all together.

Depending on the response I recieve from this thread, I will get a little more into detail, and I will be considering this an RSVP of sorts. If you Can, and are Planning on attending, please let me know, so I can arrange for a group discount, and a place for all of us to meet once we are there. And I wanted to know if a few friends from Canada, i.e Lady Trinity, and Threase ( with Draco of course ) were still planning on being there as well.

Looking forward to seeing how many people are actually wanting to try to get together.

ok, so who will DEFINATELY make an attempt at being there? So far I know for sure that Myself, Morr, Bain, LionsEye, and a few other *maybes* have expressed definate intertest. Not enough to get a group discount. ROFL.

As for rides, need to drop me a PM and *IF* we get some kind of decent feedback, and a few people who live close enough together, I will see about coordinating rides. The date is getting nearer, and I would love to make this happen.

I'm not sure yet whether I'll be in Michigan... I'll know in a few days... and if I am, I'm definitely 100% interested.

I was wondering though: just how flat is Eastern Michigan? It's been a while... and I'm wondering, if it's only about 25 miles between the festival and the place where I'll be staying, and I don't have many hills to worry about, I could feasibly bike there.

I'll be there too, at some point; we're actually driving up tonight (six + hours, from southern Indiana). I'll be the dark-haired woman lingering round the booths where belly dance items, harps or flutes are to be found (you'll know it's me if there's a tall redheaded guy in a brown leather jerkin standing nearby, looking bored).
