Assignment V Out Of Body Experiences

Hi. I'm not officially part of this class, but I have an experience I'd really like to share with the class dealing with an OBE dream.

Last winter, I met a guy from Denmark over the internet and we connected immediately. It was strange the way we clicked right away and I felt so close to him even though we had never met. A few weeks after meeting him, I actually had a dream in which I went to Denmark and I think it was involuntary astral projection.

I had the dream months ago but the images and the impression it left is still VERY vivid. The first thing I remember about the dream was a sensation of floating. I remember looking down on a lot of buildings and trees and the time was early in the morning (that's notable because with the time zone difference, it would have been dark here but light in Denmark when I had the dream). I didn't feel scared at all floating and almost felt like there was some kind of invisible support structure.

The second thing I felt in the dream was a feeling that I was quite obviously not alone up there; I couldn't see Sigurd but I felt his presence. I can still feel it when I think about the dream enough-- he walked up from behind me, and then he was standing next to me. Neither of us were visible at this point.

The next thing I remember were closer views of Copenhagen, almost as if the two of us were driving around. But again, neither of us were visible, he was just a presence I could feel. This was the most notable part of the dream because after I woke up, I went online and looked up photos of Copenhagen to see how accurate my dream was, and it was dead-on perfectly accurate. In fact, when I woke up I knew for certain that the dream was in Denmark because I saw the mermaid statue (but since Sigurd was there, it would have been obvious anyways). I thought it was notable how accurately I saw a place I'd never been to before when usually nothing looks right in my dreams, even places I see all the time. It was really weird.

A part of the dream was also in Sigurd's house. I don't remember any words actually being exchanged, but me and him wanted to go to an opera. This was sort of the comic relief part of the dream because we were talking about going out, but I didn't have any clothes with me and couldn't even figure out what I was doing over there. There was some thought about borrowing a dress from his mom, but we didn't end up going out after all.

The last thing I remembered seeing was another view from the sky. Sigurd wasn't with me when the dream ended. I woke up feeling completely disoriented and almost lost.

The weirdest thing is that after I had that dream I became more and more attached to Sigurd and I still have this urge to go to Denmark and see him.

This is a good example of Dream types linking together this would of course be Out of Body and does anyone know the other type of dream it is linkin to?
