Halloween is one day away and I am feeling a little worried for the saftey of all the children here in America and abroad! In light of the threat of new terrorist attacks I am hoping that we could all join together to pray for the children! I will also post this in Altar of the Ancients.

Well, that must have been strange for the children...but better safe than sorry! I live in a private community in a park like setting and we will be trick or treating here. At least we will be home! I know it sounds paranoid, but, I'm very concerned to say the least!

I am not american but i will join you in prayer for the safety of all the children in the world, may the goddess bless and watch over them.

On a personal level I'm not any more afraid for my children tommorrow night then on any night, but then I'm always paranoid. Wish you and your children safe trick or treating tonight.!
Brightest blessing,
Pheonix

Thanks for joining in! We need as many prayers as we can get!!

ALL are welcome to pray for ALL the children...that's why I mentioned in my original post to pray for the children in America AND abroad as to not leave any children out!! Perhaps I should have rephrased it!:p

Hi Laiste.

We light a candle every night, mostly for peace and thanking our soldiers, and we add a special thougt each night too (like for Reanna and *adia*). Tonight, we will say a prayer for the saftey of our children.

I wasn't nervous about taking the kids out at all, until the new warning. Now I feel more cautious, and I hope and pray that nothing will come of this warning.

BB to you and all of our kids.

Chris

PS Welcome quiet dear!

I will pray for the saftey for children during my Samhain ritual.

I'm hoping the threat of more attacks will not interupt Halloween. As it has been said many times, if we allow the terrorists to change our daily lives they have won. We won't be defated by some narrow minded propagandists.

Everyone is in my thoughts for sure, especially all of the children who are so dear. Just like during any Halloween we have to be careful to check candy and what not and should be on alert, but we definitely should not panic.

Love & light always,
Kristin Ann

Really no offense meant.
Hope everything goes well for you!

For starters, I'm 16 and I love trick or treating. I think you are never too old to trick or treat.

I wanted to go this year, but my parents are very worried about the anthrax scares and such. To make them happy, I will stay home and pass out candy this year, but I truly believe that younger children should still be able to partake in this ancient tradition. I know that the paranoia surrounding the anthrax attacks is really strong, but should we really let that stop something thats been going on for years? I would say not. This, of course, is just my opinion. But I hope lots more people agree with me.

Merry Part :)
