My town is having a mayors cup, and I am curious what people will do when the meet the evangelest that is comming to our town. He thinks were all going to hell cause our mayor is gay.

pity him that he feels the right to pass judgement. One of the christian laws is judge not that you may judge or freedom of choice. He is not upholding the rules of his so called belief. :spaceman:

Well it's your town and the town obviously voted the mayor into power so......the evangelist is a moron and we knew that anyway. Dont even bother seeing him would be my advice. It'll only make you angry. Everyone who doesn't believe in what he says should just boycott it. Show him how many/few people really believe in what he says.

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and hand him a stone and say if he is without sin then he may cast it. and then give him a mirror with a stone attached maybe on the back saying that quote. Not sure if Jesus said it or who.

Also, it is one person not a whole town. And, also if somebody gets drunk often and is careless in my opinion they sin just as bad as a gay person. Also, you may tell them a quote my dad told me "The worst sin in the world is human suffering"


And, tell him that the best things he can do is hug and embrace, especially the mayor. Would he rather more go to Heaven? isn't part of being a "christian soldier" to fight bad and get more into Heaven?


Some people feel they are chrsitian yet judge and scourn so much its sad. I am Chrsitian and admit I do judge (but I feel bad about it after.) I don't feel I am so sinless and perfect I could tell anybody how to live in a way like that. Also, tell them to follow Jesus and the ways of God and not man. The ways of man are judgement and hate, but God is love and embrace.

I like the stone with mirror idea. Gotta pat myself on the back for that :0


Also, tell them you can't fight fire with fire. How is casting more fire going to save soemone from the firey pits of Hell?


Its really sad how some are so judgement, espeically towards gay people. "Chrsitian" has the word Christ and Jesus wouldn't do that. maybe say "i don't knwo what Jesus would do. But, how you treat people, he surely wouldn't do that"
