I am attracted to a tumbled Kunzite at the moment. It seems to have something extra over rose quartz but I'm not too familiar with this stone. It seems to be uplifting. I was wondering if people have personal experiences with this stone.

I love my kunzite; I have 2 pieces, but the first time I "mediated" with one of them, I had a pretty bad outburst afterward...though I'm thinking that may have had something to do with the release of negative buried emotions, to get through to the positive, ya know?

I do know that it contains lithium, which my crystal books declare as one of the reasons it is an excellent depression lifter...

That outburst seems familiar but I had that with rose quartz. I first used rose quarz to 'open up' and then kunzite.
I think you are very lucky to have two pieces, kunzite feels real special to me. Like a stone of hope.

a stone of hope it is.

it has been used to fight colds, head aches and fever. I find its sound special. It belongs to the stones vry much appreciated by the fae, so take good care they dont borrow it. on the other hand, if they do, ask them kindly to bring it back and offer them a green stone in exchange which you have to give first of course

than they are likely to bring it back, recharged and very powerfied

apart from that its a heart chakra stone, with a very strong but gentle vibe. the outburtst come from kunzites vehemence and insisting on dis-solving the negativity poison inside you. it will bring things to the surface, visible and unmasked, but if you still keep it near you will also help you deal with it.

nothing is as worse as fighting an unknown or masked enemy

kunzite loves the water and moon vibes, and should not be recharged on the direct sun light much (max half an hour or hour, depending on solar strength)

Actually hiddenite and kunzite are both different varieties of spodumene or lithium aluminum silicate. Kunzite is the pink form of it and Hiddenite's color ranges from amber to emerald green. They are exactly the same mineral but they are defined differently. Essentially they are the same.

You are most welcome. The only difference is the color. Other than that, they are exactly the same. Both are used for the same purposes. It really only makes a difference if you ask for it by name.
