When we moved in with my inlaws, this cat that had adopted us stowed away in our moving truck with the last load. (I think my husband actually put him in), but the cat (Who we call Mister) lay down in front of the truck with the first load.

I swear he wasn't human. He simply knew things. When my daughter was ill, he showed up at the door meowing, and wouldn't leave her side for two days.

He brought his "friends" over when it rained, and was often seen prowling the night with the raccoons in the complex.

Now, because of the in laws he is missing. My mother in law told my husband and myself to just leave him alone and he would come back. At the same time she was telling the FIL that she was NOT going to have another cat brought here. So, he took her stand and ran the cat off. (all the while I might add that she was telling hubby the cat would show back up.).

Anyway. Hubby is really depressed. He and the cat had a special bond. We all did. He would show up while i was doing ritual and sit quietly by watching. We all love him and miss him, but he has not returned.

Do you have any suggestions of ritual work we can do to find him, or does anyone have the ability to make a psychic link with him? We dearly miss him and the four of us (hubby, kids and myself) are mourning him.

Thank you for all your support with our situations.

I'm not sure of any ritual, but I do hope that your kitty comes back. :hugz: Has he been gone for long? Do you think he may be exploring the new area?

Are you in an area where he may have been picked up by an animal shelter?

Something else - could he be trying to find his way back to his old home? Sometimes animals do that... I'm not a cat expert or anything close to it, these are just suggestions.

Maybe even try putting up lost kitty posters?

We have posters up, and regularly patrol our old apartments. We also have him listed with the local shelter, and have his picture posted there.

Its really disheartening. =-(
