So Samhain is upon us, and I thought I would share some words written by someone who has passed on. Gia was a supermodel in the 70's and 80's. While she had a lot going for her, there was a blackness inside her, a sadness, that she could never seem to escape. In the end drugs, and depression took its toll. She was one of the first women in the US to die from complications of AIDS.

I thought I would share some words from her journal... no one is dead until they are forgotten.

""Life and death, energy and peace, if I stopped today it was still worth it,
even the terrible mistakes that I have made and would’ve unmade if I could.
The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul. It was worth it.
For having being allowed to walk where I have walked. Which was to
Hell on Earth, Heaven on Earth, back again, into, under, far in between,
through it, in it and above. "

Thanks for posting that... I recently watched that movie, "Gia." It was so sad... I cried. I think Angelina Jolie did a wonderful job of playing that part.. and I think the writers and directors did a great job of bringing dignity and light into a life that was full of darkness.
